Pierre’s, welcome to the best dining experience in town – Restaurants in Falkirk
If you are looking for prime Scottish food with a twist, you have come to the right place! There are many restaurants in Falkirk, but none combine the finest of Scottish produce with the principles of French cuisine. Established in 1978 as a French restaurant, at Pierre’s we certainly have rekindled the spirit of the Auld Alliance!
Since opening in 1978, Pierre’s has established itself as a favourite throughout Falkirk and the surrounding areas. Pierre’s was opened by the late Pierre Renjard, who enjoyed 30 successful years running a traditional French restaurant. However when we, Giovanna and Alex Leask, took the helm, we decided to steer the restaurant away from traditional French cuisine in order to showcase more Scottish produce, more simply cooked. The decision was made to keep the name Pierre’s, as it had enjoyed a good reputation among the restaurants in Falkirk and regulars had many fond memories of the establishment. Having a French name, however, can lead to some confusion. Once a French restaurant, we now class ourselves as a Contemporary Scottish Restaurant.
Situated in Grahams Road, Falkirk, the restaurant offers an informal atmosphere through the day and a relaxing environment in the evening, making it ideal of both family meals out and romantic meals.
The menus expertly combine traditional Scottish ingredients, borrowing from Italian and French influences, cooked by Chef and Proprietor Alex Leask. The menus change on a regular basis, but you can expect the world famous Stornoway black pudding, Shetland Mussels and the local and delicious Malcolm Allan steaks. All dishes are freshly cooked to order using produce from local suppliers.
Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or you are looking for a quick business lunch, you will find what you are looking for at Pierre’s. Should you have any questions or comments about the restaurant, or if you wish to make a booking, please get in touch. Our number is 01324635843
