Muscat de Beaumes de Venise
From France’s southern Rhône valley, light and fruity, sweet, white fortified wines (vins doux naturels) are made from the Muscat à Petits Grains grape. A magnificent golden colour, this wine reveals an intense, yet delicate nose with aromas of fruit, jasmine and honeysuckle. It has a luscious, exotic fruit flavour, excellent persistence and a refreshing finish. |

Banyuls Red, Chaputier
Banyuls is the most southerly of the French Appleations, nestling on the terraced vineyards over the Mediterranean and Pyrenees. The wines are dominated by Grenache. This wonderful example from World famous wine maker Michel Capoutier is packed full of aromas of dried fruits, red fruits, cocoa and roasted coffee. It has a beautiful sweetness that is balanced perfectly by red fruit acidity. An excellent accompaniment to chocolate desserts and cheese. |
